What do you LOVE about Sioux Falls?

The Dental Comfort Center, your Sioux Falls dentists, are situated around some pretty unique neighborhoods. Each is special with its own personality, created by the people and places (and our amazing patients) living within.

Today, Dr. Dennis Graber, Dr. Aaron Aadland and our team thought we'd ask: What are your favorite things about Sioux Falls? Is there a local event you attend every year? Do you have a favorite eatery? Perhaps a favorite getaway in South Dakota?

Please feel free to share some information about your favorite local hang-outs in Sioux Falls, and everything you love best about “your neck of the woods” in South Dakota.

If you need to schedule your next appointment, give us a call! Have a great week!

Meet Our Dentists

Dr. Dennis Graber was born and raised in Sioux Falls, SD. He attended Washington High School and graduated from Augustana College in 1965. After doing a variety of things after college including flying military jet fighters, he got a late start in dentistry, entering dental school, at the age of 31. In 1978, he graduated from the University Of Nebraska College Of Dentistry and came back to Sioux Falls. Dr. Graber says the great team in his office has helped make that decision to go back to school the best decision he's made other than the one to ask his wonderful wife, Ruth, to marry him.

Dr. Graber has two grown and married children. Becky and her husband live in Ft. Worth, TX, where she is in the banking business. Nate and his wife Kristen and son Rory now live in Burlington, VT. He is an F-16 pilot instructing with the Vermont Air Guard after 15 years of flying F-16s in the Air Force all over the world. Dr. Graber has two grown stepchildren, Baron and Rachel, both working in Sioux Falls. His hobbies include traveling (usually to see the kids), driving his restored '58 Plymouth Fury and going to Nebraska Husker games.

Dr. Aaron Aadland was raised in Valley Springs, where his parents still live. After graduating from Brandon Valley High School, he left for college in the Big City. He traveled fifteen miles to attend Augustana College in Sioux Falls. He really enjoyed his time at Augie, where he made a lot of good friends. After college he entered the working world for a few years before heading to Omaha for dental school at Creighton University. While Omaha was a nice place to live, both Dr. Aadland and his wife Jody were anxious to get back to Sioux Falls!

Dr. Aadland's wife is from Harrisburg originally, and all of her family is in the area as well. Jody is a neonatal ICU nurse at Avera McKennan Hospital. She and Dr. Aadland met while she was a nursing student at SDSU. They have two wonderful young children, Soren and MAcy, and an energetic dog, Peyton. In his free time, Dr. Aadland enjoys golf, baseball games, and most of all spending time with his kids - especially outdoors.
